CDI Signs EPC Contract for the Construction of Mining Metallurgical Office Park in Almaty
Recently, CDI (Chengdu Design & Research Institute of Building Materials Industry Co., Ltd.) has formally signed an EPC contract with DELTA Mining Company of Kazakhstan for the construction of the Mining Metallurgical Laboratory and Office Park in Almaty. This marks that the cooperation between the two sides in the field of mining engineering has entered the stage of substantive implementation.
The scope of services for this signed project includes construction drawing design, construction of main buildings and supporting works, and procurement and delivery of laboratory equipment. Upon completion, the project will provide strong support for DELTA Mining Company’s mining metallurgical R&D and operation management in Kazakhstan. At the same time, it will fill the local capability gap for professional comprehensive mining and metallurgical laboratories.
At the signing ceremony, the President of DELTA Mining Consultancy stated that this cooperation will serve as an important starting point for long term collaboration between both parties. Leveraging CDI’s extensive experience in international engineering and Sinoma International’s strong capacity for supporting mining equipment, DELTA Mining will explore broader cooperation opportunities in mineral development and engineering construction in Kazakhstan and other countries.
The successful signing of this contract marks a solid step forward for CDI in the field of mining engineering services in Central Asia.
